Big Butt...

Leinenkugel's Big Butt Doppelbock. A favorite beer of mine brewed right
here in Wisconsin. Have this a few times per year. Pretty smooth beer,
not sure it is worthy of its Doppelbock title. Maybe they could bill it
as a bock, not a big-time malty presence like other Doppels I have had.
But, local beer that won't break the bank. I say filler up again and
enjoy! The name is great!! Bonus footage of dinner tonight:-)

MUST HAVE MEAT!!

Getting the grill ready to accept some tenderloin!! Woohoo!! Beers,
steak, and great friends to share it with! What more could a man ask
for?? Ok, well, BP and I tried, but we never did get the girls tipsy
enough to swap... Maybe next time.

Negra Modelo (Dark Beer)

I don't think this will make it as a favorite beer, but it's always nice
to change it up a bit. Funky short bottle with a little extra girth.
Not an entirely bad ale with a nice brown color that light can pass
through. The last few days I've enjoyed some hopped up ale's, it was
refreshing to have something a bit smoother.

The wives surprised us when they handled the run to the liquor store
tonight. I give them an A for originality as we've never had this beer
before. Surprised they got it from the local boozer!
