GeoCaching: Treehaven Osprey

N 45° 29.691 W 089° 33.058
There are two caches hidden on the Treehaven grounds, Michelle and I
grabbed them both today. This cache is within a hundred or so feet of a
big pole that has a platform for an Osprey to make its nest. However,
there was no nest, but, we did jump a turkey and he crossed the path
right in front of us, about a minute before the power pole picture was
taken. Was a good hike with some hills, me legs are tired:)

GeoCaching: Treehaven Beaver

Tools we use and the happy finders! I use my iPAQ H4355 to hold all the
information about the cache, including descriptions, logs, and any
hints. There are many slick tools out there to help you go paperless.
It is a drag keeping printouts of the cache. I have the closest 500
caches stored on my iPAQ, if we decide to grab another one, we don't
have to worry about having the printout. I am too chicken to take it in
the woods:) We read the description before we leave the vehicle and
secure it there.

Fire Dance?

BP and Mikey were doing a fire dance. Norm would not join in. It
worked great!! Their combined flatulence really "brightened" up the night!!

Gittin ready for racing!

BP and LR were hard at work doing "stuff" in preparation for The Vintage
Snowmobile Racing Weekend in Eagle River, WI. LR musta pressed those
drive cogs on and off 200 or 300 times. BP was busy rippin apart the
injun and getting suspension parts made. It was kind of muggy, but the
vintage dehumidifier, hanging from the engine hoist, did it's job! Kept
the beer and cocktails from sweating too much!!
