Rapids on the Wolf River

Taken 04-15-06: First GeoCaching trip of the year. Hit 6 caches this
day. This was our first stop and only picture taken with the cell phone
as we had the good camera along. These are rapids located on the Wolf
River between Crandon and Antigo. Nice area!

Scrounging for change...

The IT world is pretty tough, sometimes... Salaries are going down,
jobs are going overseas, programming languages keep getting crappier and
more convoluted all the time. Things have gotten so bad for this IT
professional that he has taken to scrounging under the vending machines
to find spare change to get a soda!! What a shame...

A co-worker has this cool looking Saleen Mustang. Sounds awesome!! The
car is now up for sale... Her husband thinks he may get into too much
trouble with it!! Anybody got an extra 45g's laying around??

Got our new flat panels

We don't have much desk space in paradise so these were a nice addition
to the puny cubes we work in.

Blue Moon Belgian Wheat

Taken 03-05-06: I was very surprised to find out this was from Coors
Brewing! Cool! A good beer. Dang, I think I say that for EVERY
beer!! This one has a nice balance of citrus effects that make it an
interesting beer. I think i can definitely get a hit of lemon and
orange in this beer. I kind of expected a better head on the beer, like
a hefe-weizen, but sadly, no such luck. This would be good sitting
around on a hot day with a cooler of these next to you.

Founders Brewing :: Pale Ale

Taken 03-04-06: Not a full bodied ale, definitely some hops in it, but
not bad. If someone you know says they don't really like hoppy beer,
this might be a good one to try to break them into the wonderful world
of hops!!

Founder Brewing :: Red's Rye

Taken 03-04-06: We were over in Michigan, sadly for my Grandmother's
funeral, when I loaded up on Founders Beers to bring home. This was
Red's Rye. This beer had a little bite to it, darn good! A nice red
color, kinda hoppy, a little malty, and decent alcohol content.

Founders deal is that they like to brew beer they like... Not what
might be mainstream brew. Stuff that peeps like me like to drink!!!

Taken 03-03-06: I have had this a bunch of times, good beer, nice brown
color, just they way I like it...

Crappy Winter Time Driving

Heads everywhere!!

Pics taken: 01-29-06: I played cards at a co-workers house one night
and needed to stay over. You can tell why i needed to stay over if you
look under the deer heads, on the entertainment center. I am not much
of a poker player, but I did get a good drunk, haha.

A pegged database server!

This is what 100% CPU utilization looks like and memory maxed at 10 gigs
use!! Our DB server took a poop one day and was crunching hard, so I
snapped a picture of it.

Would this be cool with HIPAA?

I was at my docs office for all the rib/lung problems at the beginning
of January, his PC was unlocked, just sitting there. I am sure they
require passwords and stuff, but I'll bet there are mapped drives and
stuff. It was tempting, but I did not do anything to it.

HIPAA is the reason caretakers cannot release your information to
others. Stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability
Act. My past years of experience in clinical IT still has my head
spinning on that.

Oh yeah, Mr. Johnson, I looked at your health record, you do indeed have
the clap! Better tell Mrs. Johnson ASAP so she can get her shot too!!

Summit Porter

Pic taken 01-01-06, more leftovers:) This is a really good porter, a
budget porter. A bit on the watery side, but for about 6 bucks or less
for a sizer, a guy cannot complain!

Kloster Weizen

Man! I have been so bad about getting pictures off my camera!! This
was taken 01-01-06, leftovers from NYE. Darn good beer. A nice cloudy
brew with a good head.
