Old Jubilation from Avery Brewing
I don't recall the details on this one! But if you look at the picture,
it is about as black as the night is, which must equal greatness!! I
did go look up the beer online and is a strong English ale available
during winter months. 8% on the alchy meter! Cool!
Snake River Zonker Stout
Next to Rogue Dead Guy Ale, this beer has a cool name! More from the 8
pack of micro brews! Never heard of this beer, I do remember this beer
a bit! It had a really thick head and a nice coffee/chocolate smell to
it. I would like to find more of this beer! Snake River Brewing is in
Jackson Hole, WY. I would love to go there someday to take in the
Tetons and now, the beer!!
Brennan's Golden Pils
This beer is an odd duck... Not so much for taste, hell, it was pretty
good, if i recall! The thing that is weird is that it is made by
Capital Brewery in Madison! I never knew that Capital brewed for other
peeps before. Joseph Huber in Monroe does, but I wasn't aware of
Capital doing it. If i can remember, next year when I see Kirby from
Capital at the ERBF, I will ask him about it.
So, I did some googlin on the name and found that Capital brews the beer
for Brennan's Market in Madison to be sold exclusively there. Well, it
turned up in the 8 pack of micros that I got from my Father-in-law.
Winter Warlock Oatmeal Stout
My Father-in-law gave me an 8 pack of micro brews to drink. I brought
them over to BP's house last weekend for a cookout. I honestly cannot
recall the different beers! There was only one bottle and BP and I each
split the bottle. It wasn't a bad beer, that I would remember. Next
time I better make an audio note or write a note on the phone, haha.
It's all about who??
Oh yeah, BP, that's who!! I tried taking a pic of the girls and BP had
to mug, LOL!! Later I was just takin some random shots and there was
you know who again!! haha
I dunno about you...
...but BP looks wasted!! Eerily similar to this shot, only the hat has
changed!!

hehehe. Picture taken at the street dance. By the end of the night, we
were all very wasted!! I have video that proves my state of
messed-up-edness!!
Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA
Ok, the picture sucks! I should have snapped another, and
unfortunately, I am out of this beer now. This was another one we
grabbed from the boozer in Lake Geneva. This was a damned good IPA!
Could definitely sniff out the citrus hints in this one!
Since I took such a crappy pic, I will put a link to their beer page.

Oh yeah, first picture posted with the new phone. Too bad the picture
sucks!!
Peroni
While at the family reunion in Lake Geneva, WI., we went out to dinner
one night with some newly found Huml cousins! The dinner was
excellent! The company was excellent! The beer? It was pretty good!
It was a lighter beer than what I would normally like to drink, but you
know what they say...When in Rome... It was a pretty dry beer, not a
ton of wild, in your face flavor, but a good beer with a slight hoppy
hint to it. I think this would be a great beach beer! You could drink
a ton of them while sitting on the beach!! I had Michelle smuggle out
the bottle for the bar collection:)
Rogue Dead Guy Ale
I saw this in a boozer down near Lake Geneva, WI when we were down there
for the family reunion. I bought this beer because a co-worker said it
was his brothers favorite beer. It was a pretty good beer! Reminds me
of a bock styled beer, nice malty smell, and a nut brown type color. I
will drink it again if i can find it up here in the sticks!
Three Philosophers
DAMN!!! Brewery Ommegang is THE MAN!!! They arranged to have their
beer served at the ERBF this year, what a treat!! The packaging is
killer, like Chimay Ale, with a caged cork! You can see from the pic
that it has a nice head! Haha, I wasn't a very steady pourer, haha.
This stuff has such a complex taste! You know that there is something
in there, and you can't quite put your finger on it. Then someone tells
you that you're tasting cherries and then you say, duh! Cherries!?!
Don't get me wrong, this is NOT a fruity beer!!!! The bonus of this
beer is in the alcoholic percentage!! Woohoo! I think it was 10%!! I
drank a ton of this stuff at the ERBF and even managed to bring a bottle
home for later. I will be buying this again!! I hope that Trig's in
Rhinelander has it, I know that the Trig's in Eagle River does. Might
just be worth a road trip!!
Whole Stein - Breakfast Beer!!!
Yeah, you read that right, Breakfast Beer!!! Coffee, oatmeal, and milk
are all ingredients in this stout! This was a freebie from the Eagle
River Beer Festival! Near the end of the event, you can usually score a
couple bottles of take home beer. I secured some of this whilst BP
grabbed this and some of their Copperhead.
This beer has literally zero head and pours very flat! I do prefer more
carbonation, but usually stouts aren't that cranked up with the
carbonation. I'll be looking for this again!
Biter Woman From Hell IPA
Hell yeah!! It is about time I was able to try this stuff!!! I have
had the Bitter Woman IPA from Tyranena Brewery in Lake Mills, WI
before. They had problems getting label approval for this beer and it
wasn't on the store shelves. Well, seems the labeling problem is
squarely behind them now and we can get this!!
I really thought this would be really jacked up on the hops, I mean
REALLY JACKED UP! But, surprisingly, it wasn't. Don't get me wrong, it
was a hoppy beer, but I have had hoppier beerz. It is sold in 4-packs
which is probably a good thing, you probably couldn't drink this daily.
A 4-pack lasted me a while.
