Christmas Tree Mishap

Michelle and the kids picked out the tree this year.  They got the fattest and heaviest tree they could.  Our piddly old tree stand gave up the ghost and collapsed under its weight.  It happened while no parents were home and miraculously, the only thing that was done beforehand was that Mike turned on the tree lights.  Yeah, right...  I was still at work, so I had Sammi snap a pic with her phone and send it to my phone so I could show the dudes at work.  I figured I would share with everyone...  Picture credit goes to Sammi.

Fish Tank Addition

We added a Yellow Tang to the fish tank this week.  Snapped this quick pick in the minutes after he was introduced to the tank.  He has found a little hiding place and ventures out from time to time.  He sure is yellow!!

Fuller's 1845 Ale

Thanks to a friend I got a bottle of this!  This is some pretty righteous brew!  Just my style!  Gotta a pretty wild malt thing happening and it is a nice redish color.  I wish I had more than a pint of it!  Thanks Floyd!!
