Winter's Bourbon Cask Ale

Last couple of beer pics from the old phone...

First time i had this was with BP last year, we had it on tap, and it was pretty good tasting stuff.  It's made by those same peeps in St. Louis that make that nasty ass Bud junk, but this stuff isn't half bad...  I found some in the local boozer's cooler and decided to pick some up.  The Liquor Lode in Crandon has been doing a pretty good job of bringing different beers in, but it is still a Podunk boozer that caters to locals with too much cooler space being devoted to the big breweries and not enough for the smaller craft brews.  Anyways, it's been many weeks since I imbibed on this beer, can't recall all the details, but go give it a try.  Keep an open mind if you're a blanket Bud and everything else they make hater.  This one may surprise you!

New Glarus Copper Kettle Weiss

Wow!  This beer is ACTIVE!!!  You best be careful in how much you move around that bottle before opening this beer!!  I have had a couple six packs so far and I have had nearly all of them foam up and over to some degree upon opening.  A few of them it was like a bottle of champagne going off and I would try to catch it all in the mouth.  On a couple occasions I had to pull the bottle away from my mouth when my sinus cavities started filling with beer!!

Aside from that, this beer is great!  If memory serves, it was more of a redish brown dunkel.  The head on this beer is monstrous!  If you are able to successfully open one without overflowing the bottle, leave it sit for a while.  I did and I got a cool little plum of foam that came straight out of the top of the bottle.  Neat, a little foam finger, haha.

Artsy Fartsy

Playing with the negative picture function on the phone...  Pretty cool how my yellow tang tuned blue and my blue devilfish turned yellow, haha.  Looks like an alien landscape dealie inside that tank!

My Little Slice of Hell

I took this shot today...  Kind of a before shot...  We got new desks and I wanted to forever remember this hunk of crap desk.  Although, this desk does have drawers...  Our new desks were ordered WITHOUT drawers.  My cube floor is gonna be awful messy when i dump the contents of the drappy desks drawers onto the floor when the new desk is moved in!
