Normally beer posts are about a single beer, but
not this place... haha... Was here long enough to have them all,
except the wheat beer (the bartender said it was light and kinda
whimpy). So, I had samples of everything and then pints of their
Belgian Gold, Pale Ale, and the Cabin Fever ESB. Wound up taking a
growler of the Cabin Fever ESB back with us. The Belgian was really
good! I was torn between which to get a growler of... I decided on
the Cabin Fever because the Belgian was more of a sipping beer. We
stayed here to eat some pizza and some of the best cheesy bread sticks
EVER! Cool tables, huh?

This was probably one of the toughest to get to. You almost had to have
a truck due to the sand and rough terrain to drive back in to get to
this one. It was a long 6 miles drive back to it. Not to mention, we
were in the absolute middle of nowhere. It was cool! We got some cool
pictures of deer back in here too.

This was probably one of the coolest ever cache containers...
Basically, someone took that foam insulation stuff, Great Stuff, and
formed what appeard to be a rock with a jar inside of it. The painted
it up and stuck it under a log. As we fanned out to find it, Michelle
says, "found it!". Cool...

Munising Bay... You can see Grand Island dead
ahead in the picture. If you look at the very far rightmost part of
the island, that is where the Grand Island lighthouse is located.
Grand Island actually protects the bay from the brunt of mother nature
when she is blowing from the north. I think that is a Holiday Inn or
something there in the left side of the pic...

This day... This cache was located in paradise!! WOW! We had a blast
hanging around the area! Way off the beaten path, there are actually a
few campsites within 50 yards of Lake Superior. We probably took a 100
or so pics with the cameras at this place. Awesome, simply, awesome!

We did way more GeoCaching than we took pics of... We would leave a
cache and I would say, crap, forgot a picture... Oh well, this was a
neat one! Near the shores of Lake Superior, these falls were actually
dry... That is because there hasn't been shit for rain! It is so dry
up here...

camera was overloaded and put a black spot in the center of the sun.

Vacation is all about blowing more cash in one
week than ya seem to make or be able to save in a year... These damn
cruises are no different, easy way to drop a hundo on a family of four,
but it soon became worth it to me when 1) we got a HUGE break from the
oppressive heat and 2) got to see the Bermuda shipwreck. Man, was that
awesome!! One pick of the bow and another of where the mast was. Saw
other cool wrecks, but i left the phone in my pocket to enjoy the
scenery.

Man, Bells makes some kick ass beers! The porter
is probably their best, the oberon is great, the two hearted is
insanely good, the hopslam is really intense, and, the third coast beer
is no slouch in the great hoppy taste category. Had a really nice
thick head to it! Sticks to yer stache!! I really liked this
stuff!!! I didn't have a great glass for drinking on vacation, but it
worked.
